I have had a love affair with stationary for as long as I can remember. I have every card I’ve ever been sent, from 10th birthday cards to friends Wedding invitations and baby announcements. Those cards are tangible proof that love exists. Friends love, soulmates love, baby love, and even “hey let’s drink some damn tequila love.”
My friend Maria recently asked me where I got all of my “cute cards” and as they say, flattery will get you everywhere.
This lovely local company is currently on vacation, but they have been a favorite since I discovered them at Salt and Sundry at Union Market. They will do my wedding invitations. But first, find a boyfriend…
It’s a greeting card that is also a craft and so I love it. Also totally enamored of this lovely moon card, maybe because “Moonstruck” is one of my all time favorites? Three words: Young Nicolas Cage.
I discovered Hartford Prints when shopping for a baby gift for a friend from Connecticut. They got a onesie, I got a bunch of cards!
Again, I am a sucker for funny, bathroom humor, and bawdy. Near Modern Disaster delivers these in spades!
Emily got a TON of press this Spring for her funny, candid, and much needed “Empathy Cards”. There isn’t much from this line that I don’t LOVE!
Lichia Liu does some of the most whimsical and delightful watercolors I have ever seen. I’m a sucker for a pretty illustration and a witty caption, what can I say?
Clever + local = a win in my book! This line is cute and quirky, and where I will be getting all of my Judaic cards from this point forward. Hazel Tov, y’all (hey, maybe that should be a card…)
I like sass. I like sparkle. I like pink and purple and most of all I like FUNNY. The Good Twin Co. has all of these elements covered. Adorable line, run by a super talented artist who has bangs (so I love her already) and pug assistants, which of course make everything more awesome. Because, PUGS.
So, go forth and send good mail people!
